ROUND 4 2025 MATCH DAY REPORT

UNDER 10 GIRLS

The first hint of winter didn’t dampen the spirits of the Under 10 Girls this morning as the took the field against Darebin.

It was a fantastic game played in a great spirit, with all of the girls once again tackling like women possessed! Zoe was at the bottom of every pack, bouncing up with a smile and always moving the ball forward. Alice had an amazing game, taking one of the great marks in the last quarter even to her surprise!

Co-captain’s Soraya and Zahra had their best game for the season, with the sister’s supporting their team mates and helping out all day. Despite a hand injury near the tail end of the game, Matilda Bata took out the medal with 2 goals and plenty of footy all day. If we could bottle the enthusiasm of these young girls we would have at hot seller at the RJFC Canteen - they bring out the best in each other and love what they’re doing. Well done girls!
