BOYS FOOTBALL PROGRAM
From Auskick to Under 17s, the Boys Program at Research Junior Football Club supports every stage of a young footballer’s development.
We provide a clear pathway from Auskick through to Under 17s, offering a supportive and structured environment for players of all abilities.
Younger age groups (U9–U10) focus on fun, learning the game, and equal participation, with modified rules and no visible scoring. As players move into Under 11s and 12s, formal rules, scoring, and grading are introduced, along with finals for qualifying teams. Every player is given fair game time, with attitude, attendance and teamwork encouraged and supported.
“jellis craig IS proud to support the boys program at research jfc in 2025 and help foster a community where young people and their families can grow, thrive and belong.”

In the older age groups (U13–U17), competition increases, and players are expected to maintain fitness, commitment and a positive attitude.
Coaches have discretion over game day selection and playing time, always in line with club policies. The club’s goal is to provide a positive football experience that promotes development, respect and enjoyment—helping boys grow as players and teammates on and off the field.
